More Executive Search Firms Plan for Growth
Comments
Executive recruiters are gaining confidence as they forecast corporate executive hiring in the coming months, and now they're also girding to add new professional staff to meet the anticipated demand for executive talent.
Percentage of Executive Search Firms Planning to Hire Additional Professional Staff
– Next 3 Months
In November, 25 percent of the 147 executive recruiters who participated in ExecuNet's monthly Search Firm Hiring Index poll indicated they planned to increase their professional research and consulting staff to keep pace with expected search assignment growth over the next three months. That was up two points from October, and the highest index reading since January.
The November data reflects the continued firming of confidence among executive recruiters and broader economic data that suggests companies have already begun hiring at the executive level to help achieve their strategic business priorities for 2011.
